Once upon a time, there was a grizzly bear.
The grizzly bear loved to sit by the river, hunting and eating fish all day. It was her favorite pastime, other than sleeping.
One day, a single wolf ventured into her part of the forest. The wolf, too, hunted for food, but he preferred to eat small animals, like squirrels and mice.
"He is a strange wolf," the grizzly decided, despite minimal knowledge of a regular wolf's diet. She had a hunch; she just knows these things. But, since the two animals did not cross paths, she made no move to banish him, and let him be.
The wolf continued to hunt, and so did the bear.
